Senior Kindergarten Studio

Our Senior Kindergarten Studio is for children who are 3 to 4 years old.

For children aged 3 to 4 years in an early childhood education and care environment, the following theorists and theories align with their developmental levels:

1. Lev Vygotsky: Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory remains relevant as children in this age group continue to learn through social interactions, play, and collaboration with peers and adults.
2. Jean Piaget: Piaget’s theory of cognitive development, particularly the preoperational stage, applies as children aged 3 to 4 engage in symbolic play, learn through hands-on experiences, and start to understand concepts such as time and numbers.
3. Erik Erikson: Erikson’s psychosocial theory, focusing on the stage of initiative vs. guilt, can help understand the social and emotional development of children as they explore their independence and take on new challenges in the early childhood setting.

These theorists and theories offer valuable perspectives on the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children aged 3 to 4 years in the context of early childhood education and care.
